We each have times when we are at our best. However, we also all have a tendency to focus on our short-comings. The purpose of @MyBest is to help a person learn more about the positive qualities others see in them, and particularly when they have seen them at their best, to assist them to consider how they could be at their best as often as possible.

Gathering feedback

The first step is to gather feedback from a range people who know you well, either now or from the past. Your nominees can include current and past colleagues or mentors, partners, friends, clients, even possibly parents, relatives and children. The feedback collection process usually lasts for up to 3 weeks.

Your @MyBest report

At the end of the feedback collection process, your best self stories are collated into a report. This report is entirely confidential and not seen by or given to anyone other than you.  A workbook accompanies the report, to help you analyse your feedback and create an action plan.

Debrief session

There is an optional report debrief session, usually in a workshop format, when you analyse the feedback you receive and work on how to apply the learning from it.  The instrument can also be used as a basis for for one-to-one coaching.

By drawing upon a broad range of reviewers, @MyBest creates a well-rounded picture of your present and past self from different times and situations in your life from which you can learn about your strengths as seen by others. @MyBest provides valuable insights into the way you add value and make a positive contribution to the world.  The optional debrief and follow up session are designed to help you to apply these strengths in both your personal and work life to achieve the best results possible. At approximately 6 weeks following the debrief session, Stokes & Jolly arrange a follow up session to check in with you to see how the implementation of your @MyBest action plan is progressing.
